FAQ #24

Who can read my journal entries? How can I make things public, private, and protected?

I was referring this FAQ for a support request, and discovered the following sentence under the heading "PRIVATE:" as I skimmed through it:

"Private entries are very private."

That seems very unprofessional and unnecessary to me, as it does not express an original thought and seems to come from the Department of Redundancy Department. :P I suggest that it be replaced with a sentence more like the following:

"Private entries cannot be read by other LiveJournal users."
