This FAQ currently says:

"If you are familiar with DNS and how it works, you could also set up an A record pointing to livejournal.com, rather than a CNAME pointing to 66.150.15.150."

CNAME records point to names, such as livejournal.com. A records point to IP addresses, such as 66.150.15.150. The A and CNAME in that sentence should be swapped.
