If you were viewing several syndicated accounts then you will still be able to view them all, but will not be able to add any more to your friends page unless you first remove sufficient syndicated accounts from your friends list that you are no longer over-quota.
(which is the suckiest wording ever, but the best that you're going to get out of me right now, and apparently a sucky wording is better than no wording at all)
