What is a community?

I've come up with a draft of the new text of FAQ77, but it seemed a smidget clunky to me, so I'll throw it out here for the Nifty People of lj_userdoc to review, and I think I'll stop writing run-on sentences, because they're bad grammar, and I don't want to make my English teacher cry. And stuff.

A LiveJournal community is a meeting place. For example, users who are interested in a single subject, or users who are residents of a town or city, can find or create a community based around their mutual interests. Members of a community can be informed quickly by the community about events that directly pertain to them.

There are several differences between a community journal and a personal journal:

* A community's "Friends" are its "Members"
* A community's "Friend-Ofs" are listed under a list marked "Watched By"
* Many people can post to a community journal
* It is not possible to backdate an entry in a community
* It is not possible to post a Private or Custom security entry in a community
* It is not possible to post entries or comments with the community journal
* It is not possible to post entries using the community's user pictures
