Why has my journal display (or my friends page) suddenly gone awry?"

(Or something to that effect.)

You are experiencing this problem because an entry has been posted that contains invalid HTML.

To correct this you will need to edit the entry as described here: http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=2

Because HTML that originates off-site, especially codes, surveys and memes, frequently contain invalid HTML that causes your page to render improperly, it is highly suggested that all such entries be placed behind an "lj-cut" tag as described in this FAQ: http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=75 .

I'm frustrated (I've been on this rampage for months but particularly this week), but the fact that they're changing the development of the site because of the stupid quizzes is outrageous. So this may not be worded the best but it's a start.

May want to include about removing friends, or maybe not. We could, theoretically, just add that where appropriate. Most of the time, though, at least that I've seen, it's the friends page.

Hack and slash at will.
