editorial suggestions for support board

Not sure this is the right place for this, but I'm guessing it's close enough:

The text at the top of the support board reads "answered (either awaiting to be closed by the person needing help, or the person requested they still need help)."

Possible fixes: "...or the person who made the request still needs help"; "or reopened because the person still needs help"; "...or the person has requested additional help."

Also, that should be "waiting to be closed" rather than "awaiting to be closed".
