New FAQ proposal: How can I track who reads my journal (entries)?

I'm by no means the expert on this topic, but I have seen it raised in support once too often for it not to be considered a potential FAQ. I'd like to therefore propose an FAQ on "tracking visitors to my journal", and test the waters to see what everyone else thinks before somebody writes up a draft.
