I've always written it out as "PhonePost", since that's how I originally saw it. I've been under the impression that "PhonePost" is the official name of the feature, but apparently, I'm wrong -- or am I?
http://www.livejournal.com/phonepost/ and http://www.livejournal.com/phonepost/numbers.bml call it the "Post by Phone" feature.
http://www.livejournal.com/phonepost/ogg.bml calls it "phone post".
http://www.livejournal.com/phonepost/about.bml uses "Post by Phone" in its title and first paragraph, but then calls them "audio posts" for the second half of the page.
http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=184 calls it the "Phone Post" feature.
http://www.livejournal.com/manage/files.bml and http://www.livejournal.com/manage/files.bml?showtype=phonepost each say "Phone Post".
http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=183 uses "audio post", "phone post", and "Phone Post", emphasized by the use of two seperate forms of the phrase in at least one paragraph.
The posts themselves say "PhonePost" for the links to the files (which is probably where I got my form from), but they also say "Phone Post" in their subjects.
The transcription pages, however, say "PhonePost" and "phonepost".
So...which is it? We've got no less than 6 variations -- "Post by Phone", "phone post", "Phone Post", "audio post", "PhonePost", and "phonepost" -- floating around the site. I know we tend to be a fickle bunch, but that's a bit ridiculous. Any ideas on what the actual name is? :)
