I added a parapraph to http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=78 about converting existing accounts. We're getting too many requests about it and there really needs to be a blurb. It's a balanced blurb, and doesn't really encourage the method, but it's something we can reference, and that's good. Tried to be good with wording, but if there's anything icky, take my apologies and cookies and let me know.
