FAQ 57, How can I help? [about]

On the never-ending quest to change all the FAQs over to the further reading format, I stumbled across FAQ 57. This FAQ is full of messy links, which render it somewhat hard to read, but wouldn't really work well with the further reading format. I pondered this for while, to try to think up a nice solution, and what I propose is this: we try to limit each section to a single URL, and then format the sections as:

HEADING - http://www.livejournal.com/appropriate-url.bml
A brief description of what it's all about goes here.

Ideally, I think that we should just keep the descriptions brief, and link to the userinfo page of the community appropriate for the project in question. This is good, because it lets the maintainers of the community in question be able to update with new links or more information when the way their project works changes, but bad because several userinfo pages aren;t kept up to date.

Any other thoughts on ways to handle and clean up this FAQ?
