[FAQ 71] Remember Me

I changed a paragraph in FAQ 71 to match the new log-in options wording (Remember Me vs Expire when your browser closes). I also added a new paragraph on clearing your browser cache.

Old:
  • If you are using a computer other people can access, your login should be set to expire when your browser closes. This will require you to manually log in each time you use LiveJournal. If your login is currently set to never expire, you can log out by clicking on the "Log out?" button or "Logout" link at the top of the page, and then quitting your browser. Go to the Log In page to change your login/logout settings.

  • New:
  • If you are using a computer other people can access, your login should not be set to Remember Me. This will require you to manually log in each time you use LiveJournal. If your login is currently set to Remember Me, you can log out by clicking on the "Log out?" button or "Logout" link at the top of the page, and then quitting your browser. Go to the Log In page to change your login/logout settings.

  • Make sure to empty your web browser's cache after using LiveJournal. This will prevent your web browser from storing old versions of LiveJournal pages.
