Placeholders also for images without a size specified

There was this request recently where the user noted that placeholders appear even for small images, if the img tag did not specify the size of the image. The user suggested that the UI for placeholders should include a warning and that the FAQ should mention that.

The approved answer pointed out that FAQ 259 mentions that; however, the first FAQ I thought of was FAQ 40 since I had used that recently.

How about adding something like the wording in FAQ 259 to the line on placeholders? (Namely, "Please note that images without defined sizes will be treated as large images for the purpose of a placeholder; therefore turning on image placeholders for large images will also hide some small images.")
