FAQ 17 wording suggestion

So I was reading FAQ 17, and I notice that the phrasing "you may be able to restore access to your account via an alternate method" is used, which seems unnecessarily obscure.

Is there any particular reason it doesn't say something more direct, like "you may be able to restore access to your account by answering your secret question"?
