You can make a manual payment through the Gift Shop with a credit card, PayPal, Web Money, check, money order, or cash. Once the purchase is completed, Paid Accounts are neither transferable nor refundable.
Any payments of cash, check, or money order must be postmarked on or before October 1, 2009. After this date, such payments will not be accepted. If you are paying by cash, check, or money order, the final confirmation screen in the checkout process includes the address you should send your payment to. Make sure to include either a print-out of that page or a note referencing your payment number.
Make checks payable to "LiveJournal.com". We can only accept checks from the United States and Canada. If you are sending a check from Canada, please make it out in United States funds by writing the payment amount followed by "US Funds".
We do not recommend sending cash through the mail, as it can easily be stolen and there is absolutely no way to recover it. If the payment does arrive at our office, however, we will accept it.
We strongly suggest using a carrier or delivery method with tracking options, such as delivery or signature confirmation, as we have no way of tracking a payment that hasn't reached our offices. Also, please make sure you allow plenty of time for us to receive your payment, since we can't offer account extensions due to delayed mail delivery.
International users should first try to pay by credit card, PayPal, or Web Money. If it is not possible for you to pay by credit card, PayPal, or Web Money, or if your credit card is not accepted, you should pay with an international money order in United States funds. Many postal services and banks offer these for a small fee.
